Itineraries

  • Depart Nairobi/Kigali by Rwandair Express or Kenya Airways. Meet and greet by Peaks of Africa representative. Afternoon city tour including genocide memorial. Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel.
  • 06h00 departure for Ruhengeri, driving through beautiful county side. Arrive at the park gates at 08h00. Registration and briefing by park guides. Enter the Parc National des Volcans and trek for 2 to 8 hrs depending on the family and the movement of the gorillas. The authorities permit only one hour of gorilla viewing. Descend for lunch at a lodge and in the afternoon visit the serene lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo. Overnight at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge (BLD).

  • After breakfast, 2nd gorilla trek to view another gorilla family. Lunch at lodge. Return to Kigali in the afternoon. Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel. (BL).

  • After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Nairobi. B.
